One Click LCA, a global developer of life-cycle assessment technology supporting environmental product declarations, is accepting Low-Carbon Manufacturing Awards 2024 program entries through September 15.
The firm aims to recognize companies that have demonstrated significant progress in reducing embodied carbon through innovative practices, products and technologies. Award candidates include cement or concrete, sustainable metal or alloy, green wood and fiber, advanced ceramic and glass, plus insulation material producers.
“As a major contributor to global carbon emissions, the construction industry is taking significant steps toward decarbonization. Producing and selecting low-carbon materials is the first and most vital link in the construction value chain. By entering our program, manufacturers can showcase the potential of their products to decarbonize the industry,” said One-Click LCA Founder and CEO Panu Pasanen.
As industrial and manufacturing sectors face increasing regulatory or market pressures for sustainable products, he added, the awards provide a platform to highlight industry leaders who are setting new benchmarks.
Entries can be submitted through the awards portal.
